Home schooled kids have never been this funny.
You forget that there are some good jokes in this movie. You never hear about this movie, and it won't go down in anyone's comedy hall of fame, but its actually better than I thought it would be. Then again, I didn't realize till just now that Bob Odenkirk was the director and I don't think there is a movie he's been connected to I haven't liked in some fashion. I would definitley say give this a movie a chance. There are some jokes that fall a little flat (like the movie rental return joke) but there are some really great ones (like the coaxing of the little girl into their car). Will Arnett and Forte are great in this movie. They are both really good at playing innocent awkwardly. Chi McBride also does a great angry black man.
Give this one a chance.
This review sucks. You barely say anything at all about this movie. I get the feeling that you probably haven't even seen this movie, or most of the other movies you've reviewed. Stick to making shitty podcasts.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you've heard of this, but there's this awesome website (and iPhone app) that tells you what the movie is about, it's called IMDB. This is his recommendation and opinion on whether a movie is worth seeing. Who needs another blog telling you what a movie is about?
DeleteI dont know if you've ever read a review but this is not one. The only opinions I see are the generic lines: "Will Arnett and Forte are great in this movie." and "Chi McBride also does a great angry black man." Wow, how descriptive! I'm not asking for a wikipedia article but you have to give SOME information about the movie you're talking about or the reader wont have a clue what you're talking about. Want an example? He references a few jokes in the movie... I've never seen the movie so how would I possibly know what he's even talking about? I could go into greater detail on how each line of this thing sucks but the fact that this comment is longer than the author's one choppy paragraph of a "review" I will not bother.
